Calibration Model Refinement and Customization
SMART-NIRS-CMRC – Calibration Model Refinement and Customization can be added to all ChemWiz-ADK Systems at the time of purchase if you would like additional assistance with calibration development. Our new ChemWiz-ADK PRO App software allows users to refine and customize our starter calibrations to their own local samples. However, there are some times where customers would like additional support. This refinement and customization service package will include the addition of 30-50 customer samples to the calibration model with 6 months of calibration support.
Calibration Model Development for Similar Sample
SMART-NIRS-CMD – Calibration Model Development service for similar samples consists of a thorough review of your sample type and requested measured analytes with one of our expert chemometricians. In this package we will review the literature and provide information as to common sample preparation techniques, spectral processing, and previously cited calibration accuracy. Included in this package is the testing of 30-50 samples either provided by the customer or sourced locally. A subsequent reference method will also be chosen to determine the real concentration of analyte. Further, our expert team of chemometricians and NIR spectroscopists will provide a report and preliminary calibration model for your sample set as well as suggest ways to improve calibration accuracy in the future. (additional charges may apply for sample sourcing AND advanced reference methods). Our new ChemWiz-ADK PRO App software allows users to develop their own calibrations from scratch, this service is just for those customers that would like additional support or those who may be new to spectroscopy.
ChemWiz-ADK PRO App for Spectral Matching
The ChemWiz-ADK PRO App allows users to save sample spectra to a specified library, then later perform a real time search using unknown samples to look for matches. This feature works using covariance mathematics to assign a correlation value and displays the top 10 library entries that qualify as a match. The interface panel is simple and easy to use, allowing the user to click “Capture” and then ‘Analyze” to display matches. The user can then click on any match to see its actual library spectrum and compare it to the captured one. The powerfulChemWiz-ADK PRO App has a series of processing algorithms to compensate spectral baseline offsets and minimize effects due to off-axis scattering and fluorescence.

The ChemWiz-ADK PRO App makes real-time composition measurements quick and easy. “Technician” user mode offers the most basic functionality with simple 1 button analysis. Pass/Fail or composition percentage can save to report and data log. “Admin” user mode offers complete access to spectrometer settings and full spectrum near-infrared data. ChemWiz-ADK PRO admin mode allows users to save validated samples to library and search unknowns for matching. Also, Admin mode allows the user to create PLS chemometrics models for custom samples. Create your own chemometrics model quickly and easily. When you’re done, “Technician” user mode can load your custom calibrations and begin daily quality inspections.
