Starter Plastic ID Package

Included with your system is our Starter Plastic ID Package with database save/search functionality. The database has been generated using recycled plastics including PETE – Polyethylene Terephthalate, HDPE – High density Polyethylene, PVC – Polyvinyl Chloride, LDPE Low-density Polyethylene, PP – Polypropylene, and PS – Polystyrene.  Using this Plastic ID package you can place incoming unknown samples onto the measurement fixture and within seconds match your unknown sample to your database.  Matches are displayed on screen in order of %match and the user can then click on any match to see its actual library spectrum and compare it to the captured one. Samples with varying thickness, opacity, and colors can be added to your library with a click of a button. Simple to use, easy interface.

ChemWiz-ADK PRO App in “technician mode” testing unknown samples. Technicians can either have the system set to measure unknown samples, in which case the system will report the closest match in the library. Alternatively, the ChemWiz-ADK PRO app can operate PASS/FAIL when a sample is selected and tested against. In both cases, “technician mode” allows for session recording and reporting.

Administrators can easily collect new samples with varying shapes, opacity, roughness, and add to the system library for future analysis. 

Calibration/Database Development for Similar Sample Type

There are many types of plastics, polymers, processing intermediates, and blends that can easily be measured with the ChemWiz-ADK-PP.  If you are interested in a similar type sample to those provided in our starter packages, we suggest using our ChemWiz-ADK PRO software tools to create your own custom library database.  If you are having difficulties contact our team for support.  Calibration model development usually takes just a few weeks and you will be assigned a StellarNet calibration development engineer who will work with you to finalize your custom analyzer solution.
