Real-time Analysis
Both the handheld ChemWiz-ADK and the portable ChemWiz-ADK-Case produce near instantaneous results on your screen with a press of the analyze button. Most competitive NIR analyzers have moving parts and require a complete spectral scan which can take seconds if not minutes to acquire data. StellarNet NIR spectrometer analyzers use a dispersive diode array technology which takes spectral scans in milliseconds!
Little to No Sample Prep
Near-infrared spectroscopy is a non-contact technique that measures the reflected light from your sample and requires little to no sample preparation. Additionally, the ChemWiz-ADK-Case uses a patented 3D optical collection design to measure large sample areas without needing to move or spin the sample. Inhomogeneous samples can be measured without the need of integrated moving parts which can break over time and require costly maintenance and servicing. The handheld ChemWiz-ADK offers multiple collection accessory options including direct attach diffuse reflectance, reflectance probe, 3D reflectance and industrial reflectance fixtures.
Easy to Use
StellarNet delivers each NIR spectrometer analyzer pre-packed with Starter NIR calibration models for a variety of agriculture and food processing applications as well as spectral databases for raw ingredients, nutraceuticals, chemicals, and plastics. The ChemWiz-ADK PRO App makes real-time composition measurements quick and easy. “Technician” user mode offers the most basic functionality with simple 1 button analysis. Pass/Fail or composition percentage can save to report and data log. “Admin” user mode offers complete access to spectrometer settings and full spectrum near-infrared data. ChemWiz-ADK PRO administrator mode allows users to save validated samples to library and search unknowns for matching. Also, Admin mode allows the user to create PLS chemometrics models for custom samples. Create your own chemometrics model quickly and easily. When you’re done, “Technician” user mode can load your custom calibrations and begin daily quality inspections. The systems offer a handful of preprocessing algorithms as well as viewing your compiled model statistics. Create your own analyzer with our NIR spectrometer analyzers.
Rugged and Portable
As with all StellarNet instrumentation, the ChemWiz-ADK NIR Analyzers are built rugged. No moving parts in the instruments optical bench means that it is shock-proof and vibration tolerant. This is critical when using NIR calibrations and reduces costly maintenance fees!
Both NIR analyzer systems feature an internal main power control system with ON/OFF & Charge buttons. They have an 8 hour battery lifetime for field use and portable application and come with AC power adapters for use in your laboratory or production environment.
Customizable
StellarNet provides factory starter calibrations and searchable chemical databases. However, the analyzers also have built in calibration model development and runtime engines for customization of your specific sample types. The interface is capable of calibration transfer from other instruments. For sample ID, user customization is extremely simple, measure your sample and add it the library. It then becomes searchable for each subsequent measurements. Please contact our team of application scientists for more information.
Affordable
StellarNet is your low cost leader for spectroscopy hardware. The ChemWiz-ADK NIR spectrometer analyzers are affordable and 1/3 the cost of competitive products.
