    • HyperNova Drivers-R: HyperNova driver installation. This step is mandatory for HyperNova spectrometer only. See “HYPER-Nova X-Calibration File” section below for more information on Hyper-Nova spectrometer.
    • SpectraWiz v6.3: Install SpectraWiz v6.32 for most current spectrometers.
    • SpectraWiz v7: Install SpectraWiz v7 for high-resolution spectrometers marked T3.
    • StellarPro V2.x.x (Admin): Install StellarPro V2.x.x, User Account Control (UAC) / Administrator permission is required and device drivers will be installed automatically.
    • StellarPro V2.x.x (User): Install StellarPro V2.x.x. WARNING: This selection revokes User Account Control (UAC) and administrative privileges. Manual device driver installation is required: Contact your IT department. For device drivers, run “InstallDriver.exe” located on the Desktop

SpectraWiz, visit Knowledge Base SpectraWiz Software for more information, is a fully featured spectroscopy suite using our legacy Windows DLL and spectroscopy applications for radiometry, colorimetry, Raman spectroscopy, spectral library search, multivariate chemometric analysis, absorbance, reflectance/transmittance, LIBS, Spectral ID, and ChemWiz PLS modeling.

StellarPro, visit Knowledge Base StellarPro Software for more information, is a fully featured spectroscopy suite with user account access controls and advanced spectroscopy applications for haze, thin film analysis, radiometry, colorimetry, Raman spectroscopy, spectral library search, ChemWiz multivariate chemometric analysis, absorbance, reflectance/transmittance, etc. Note: StellarPro software receives periodic updates. Please check out our website for the latest release.

  • The next stage will allow you to select which folder the program will be installed in. We recommend that you stick with the default location and choose “Install”
  • The program’s green progress bar will move towards the right until complete.

  • Now, plug in the spectrometer through USB. You should see the green LED light up on your spectrometer!
  • Visit the SpectraWiz and StellarPro sections to explore more features! Also, visit Applications section to start your spectrometer applications!

Please reach out to Support@StellarNet.us if you need any assistance with installing the driver and the software!

Install intensity calibration files for SpectroRadiometer operation

For SpectraWiz: The calibration files are installed by clicking MyCal-nnnnn.exewhere “nnnnn” = spectrometer serial # shown on label. This self extracting zip file moves all “.cal” files (if you ordered more than one) to C:\Program Files\StellarNet\SpectraWiz\SwCal

For StellarPro: The calibration files can be loaded manually in the StellarPro Radiometer application.

HYPER-Nova X-Calibration File

  •  Follow the steps above to install the StellarPro software. Make sure the ‘Driver HYPER-Nova-R‘ option is selected on the install component options page at step 6, as shown below. Note: The SpectraWiz component can be unselected on the page below. Hyper-Nova must be run with the StellarPro software.
  • After the software installation is completed, copy the coefficient file named with 5-digits numbers (“#####.txt”) from the delivered thumb drive and paste it into the folder “C:\Program Files\StellarNet\StellarPro\Devices\Coeffs”.
  • Double-click the StellarPro software icon on the desktop to run the software.

Note: StellarPro and SpectraWiz are using two different drivers. If you need to switch between the StellarPro and SpectraWiz Software, please refer to the guide on Switching Between SpectraWiz and StellarPro Drivers.
