Our Forage and Feed Analyzers can help ensure consistent and protein rich feed for your livestock. Monitoring parameters such as protein, fat, moisture, fiber, and ash can help you in bulk feed purchasing as well as helping you determine optimal feed mixtures.
The ChemWiz-ADK–FF (Forage and Feedstuff) is rugged and portable with 8 hour battery life and can be transported between farm and bulk purchasing locations. It’s non-destructive and high speed sampling (several seconds per scan) ensures fast and low cost analysis whenever you need it. Become your own lab today!

ChemWiz-ADK PRO App “Admin mode” model statistics compare and view. In this panel the admin can add their own samples in real-time to any calibration model. Admins can recompute and improve the chemometrics models with new samples added and compare the model statistics. If the new samples improve the model fit, then the model can be saved or saved as new, or the sample can be discarded and more samples added, repeat. This easy-to-use interface can allows users to customize every calibration model for their own local samples.
Alfalfa and Timothy Starter Packages
Included with your system is our starter Alfalfa and Timothy Calibrations. These calibration models predicts crude Fat, moisture, protein and fiber in both Alfalfa and Timothy Hay samples samples. The calibrations were generated using over 60 different samples varying in composition and has an estimated error of prediction less than +/-1% when measuring similar samples. It is the perfect calibration to get you up and running measuring composition of Alfalfa and Timothy Hay.

Calibration Model Refinement and Customization
Our portable Forage and Feedstuff Analyzers are based on NIR (near-infrared) reflectance technology and the system’s accuracy is based on our starter calibration packages and comparability with your own samples.
Since we don’t have your samples, there will be room for improvement and each system can be tuned and optimized for your specific samples. Our new ChemWiz-ADK PRO App software allows users to refine and customize our starter calibrations to their own local samples. If customers would like additional support, we recommend that along with each StellarCASE-NIR-FF, a Calibration Model Refinement and Customization Service Package be added to guarantee the best possible performance of your system.
Calibration Model Development for Similar Sample Type
There are many types of forages and feeds that can easily be measured with the ChemWiz-ADK–FF. Our new ChemWiz-ADK PRO App software allows users to easily make new models for their own new sample types. If you would like additional support, we recommend purchasing a Calibration Model Development Service Package along with your ChemWiz-ADK–FF. Calibration model development usually takes just a few weeks and you will be assigned a StellarNet calibration development engineer who will work with you to finalize your custom analyzer solution. We suggest users try using our ChemWiz-ADK PRO software tools to create their own custom calibrations and if they are having difficulties contact our team for support.
